Living with a Professor?

It's not hip for college students to live with Mom and Dad, but will it be hip to live with a professor in residence at Weatherford Hall? Time will tell as Justin Craig leaves the Gold Coast, Australia and arrives in Corvallis to share his knowledge and vision of entrepreneurship with the students in the Austin Entrepreneurship Program. Students and Professor Craig will comprise an entrepreneurial community.

Craig's first-hand experience began immediately after high school when he worked for eight years with a "classic" entrepreneur before joining his brother in the business of owning and managing aged hotels. Six years later, his desire to continue learning led him to Bond University, a highly respected, private university in Australia. While at Bond, Craig enhanced his entrepreneurial knowledge with his graduate studies and then proceeded to complete his PhD in behavioral science. He was a member of the winning team in the prestigious 2000 Moot Corp. business plan competition. His many experiences provided him with his current belief in the importance of learning inside and outside of the classroom. He said, with a strong Australian accent, that most students who don't gain real life experience in college enter the work world "like a [kanga]roo in headlights." With Justin Craig in residence, Weatherford will be an exceptional opportunity for students to live and learn.
